Mission

America Walks fosters the development of local and state pedestrian advocacy groups, educates the public about the benefits of walking, and acts as a collective national voice for walking advocates.

Vision

America Walks and its member organizations envision an America where every community street has sidewalks, where drivers always respect pedestrians, and where a ten-year-old can safely walk to school.
