America Walks is a partner in the National Center for Safe Routes to School. U.S. Congress established the National Center as part of the $651 Million, five year program to get more children safely walking and bicycling to school.
America Walks groups are among the most experienced and most knowledgeable in the country with starting and running Safe Routes to School Programs. We have developed the Coaching Action Network to share this expertise with you. The Coaching Action Network is for parents, students, teachers, agency staff, community members, professionals, and even just for people curious about the topic. Coaching services are available to grassroots individuals who want a helping hand. We want to save you time, energy and worries by benefitting from our network of innovation and experience.
Next Presentation: "Who Cares About Safe Routes? Making the Case in Your Community," Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 2pm (ET).
