Robin joined America Walks’ Board of Directors in September 2009. She is the Associate Director for the California Adolescent Health Collaborative (CAHC). CAHC, a project of the Public Health Institute (PHI), is a public-private statewide coalition with the goal of increasing understanding and support for adolescent health and wellness in California. In her position as Associate Director, she is involved in direct research on a range of adolescent health issues as well as policy and advocacy efforts to improve health services and environments for teens throughout California. Robin’s work and the mission of CAHC include advocacy for improving environments for adolescents, including pedestrian safety and access, as well as developing and advocating for youth-friendly nutrition and physical activity policies and programs. Robin has a Master of Public Health and a Master of Social Welfare from University of California-Berkeley. An avid runner and hiker, Robin has two daughters that she walks with to the park as often as possible.
