Join America Walks
America Walks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that leads a national coalition of autonomous, local advocacy groups dedicated to making North America’s neighborhoods more walkable. Our member groups range from statewide task forces to grassroots neighborhood organizations, each working to improve conditions for walking. Individual and corporate members provide additional support.

Types of Membership

Supporter – it’s FREE! Supporters of America Walks demonstrate by their numbers that Americans demand a balanced transportation that meets the needs of everyone – not just drivers.

Member groups America Walks member groups are generally local, regional or state grassroots membership organizations advocating for improved conditions for walking.

Individual members If you are already a member of your local and/or statewide pedestrian advocacy organizations, that’s great! You can still support America Walks by becoming an individual member. -
Corporate members Corporate members can join at one of five levels. America Walks also has sponsorship opportunities for individual events.
